01 – Architecture of Transformation

From occupation to demolition, buildings are subject to organizational changes.

The speed of social, scientific and technical development determines that the brief that originated the building becomes obsolete before the building itself. Changes of use, interpretation and definition generate uninterrupted transformation in the built space.


Architecture as built space is a process in permanent transformation.


Hence: should Architecture as a proposal have a vocation to be transformed, thought with a certain level of ambiguity which is foreseeable from the moment the brief is formulated?
